MR. CLEMENT AGONI - (Chief Executive Officer).

Clement AgoniMr. Clement Agoni is a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist of the Allied Health Professions Council, Ghana. He is a social entrepreneur, a model UN trainer and has innate passion for youth development. This is evident in his roles in student activism marked from his early school days (President of Mamprusi Students Association at Tamale Senior High School, Tamale, Ghana, and Vice president of same group at University of Cape Coast, MAMSU-UCC; Interim President of Medical Laboratory Technology Students Association, University of Cape Coast, MELTSA-UCC; a member of the publicity committee of Local National Union of Ghana Schools, University of Cape Coast Chapter, LOCAL NUGS-UCC and the Vice president of Federation of Ghana Medical Laboratory Science Association of Ghana, FG-MELSA).His leadership roles cuts across all walks of life (President and secretary of Assemblies of God Campus Ministry and Scripture Union respectively at senior high school).

Currently, Mr. Agoni is currently the Regional organizing secretary for Ghana

Association of Biomedical Laboratory scientists, Central regional

Chapter, the youngest member of the executive council of the Medical

Laboratory Profession in Ghana. He resigned from his appointment as

the Laboratory Manager for Baiden Ghartey Memorial Hospital in Cape

Coast to pursue post graduate studies in 2017.

 

Mr. Agoni has expertise in academic & clinical research, Leadership development, Teaching, Mentorship and social development, Team

building, Team leadership and Public speaking. As an academic researcher he has interest in clinical diagnostics. He has a published paper in Journal of Lipids, http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2016/7650530 and conference paper in Haematology (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Clement_Agoni).

 

Out of his passion for academic excellence, research, student mentorship and youth development, he served at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, University of Cape Coast as a Teaching assistant in 2014, facilitating student Laboratory practical works, reviewing students’ research proposals, dissertations and writing scientific papers for academic publications in internal and international journals.

 

As a trained healthcare professional, he realized that there was more he could do to save lives than to simply stay at the hospital and waiting for patients to come to him. He therefore decided to come up with an idea that would reduce the risk of potential clients acquiring certain preventable diseases by providing periodic medical screening for the early detection of most of these conditions. It was out of this passion that gave birth to Dream Laboratory Consult. “Community service and creation of conducive learning environment for students and pupils is my utmost priority” He said in one of his voluntary & free seminars with Medical Laboratory final year students of University of Cape Coast in May, 2016. With the support of a great team, the idea has actually been implemented and has been receiving great feedback from clients so far.

 

In order to be equipped with the necessary skills and expertise, he has enrolled in a number of leadership, mentorship and entrepreneurial workshops and Programs. Key among is the annual Life-link Model United Nations Conference where he rose through the ranks as a conference delegate to a conference trainer, the University of Cape Coast -School of Business Incubator and entrepreneurial program, British Council- Ghana Blazing trail entrepreneurial program and ENGINE business plan competition and entrepreneurship development program by TECHNOSERVE, Ghana and Sponsored by UKAID.

 

Mr. Agoni as the Chief executive officer of Dream Laboratory Consult is detailed-oriented and people's person. He loves what he does and does it passionately and with confidence. With his administration, he has achieved higher heights for the company. He led his team of abled Management and staff in winning ‘Top finalist’ in ENGINE business plan competition and entrepreneurship development program by TECHNOSERVE, Ghana and Sponsored by UKAID.

 

He is a lover of good music, sports, World politics and an entertainment guru. He is a self- motivated young man who is inspired by his own quote ‘’live to leave a legacy (L3).

MR. RANSFORD ODURO KUMI - (Human Resource manager).

Ransford Oduro KumiMr. Ransford Oduro Kumi is a licensed medical laboratory scientist in the Allied Professions Council of Ghana and currently the Laboratory manager of Dr Mensah Herbal Clinic in Sekondi. Mr Oduro Kumi has always demonstrated his passion for the medical laboratory profession even during his undergraduate studies at the University where he served as an active member of the health team in the department. This earned him a certificate of recognition during the annual end of year dinner and awards night of the department in 2014. His unending desire to create healthy communities is worth emulating, this became evident when he was actively involved in the medical outreaches of the health team during his undergraduate studies.

 

As a young and a budding researcher, Mr. Oduro Kumi conducted a research on ‘’Intestinal parasitosis among primary school pupils in coastal areas of the Cape Coast Metropolis, Ghana’’ published in the International Journal of TROPICAL DISEASE & Health in June 2015 during his undergraduate studies.

 

Mr. OduroKumi is the fun loving type, at his leisure time he loves to hang out with friends, play football and video games. His ability to adapt to new environments, to socialise easily and to crack jokes makes him the best person to manage the human resource of Dream Laboratory Consult.

MR. EVANS DUAH - (Director of Programs and Media relations).

Evans KumiMr. Evans Duah is a medical laboratory scientist by training licensed by the Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana. He is currently a biomedical scientist at Baiden-Ghartey Memorial Hospital in Cape Coast, Ghana. Mr. Duah discovered his talent in media relations when he was appointed Editor in Chief of the student association (Medical Laboratory Technology Students Association, University of Cape Coast) in his department. Leading a team of great minds, he branded the student association to an enviable status not just within the university but also the medical laboratory fraternity in the country. This earned him a citation of honour during the annual departmental dinner and awards nights in his department. His hallmark is excellent and is motivated by the quote that ‘’if it must be done, then it must be done well’’. As a result, he constantly keeps himself updated with latest trends in his profession and areas outside his field of expertise. Mr Duah has participated in business training seminars organised by the University of Cape Coast Business School as part of their Business Incubator programme. He was also short listed for a 3-day Entrepreneurship training workshop dubbed ‘’Blazing Trails’’ organised by the British Council in 2015.

 

As a young academic Mr. Evans Duah has participated in a number scientific research activities including the co-authoring of three research papers, two of which have been published in internationally acclaimed research journals (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Evans_Duah).

He is also an expert in data analyses using statistical software such as the IBM SPSS.

A very good cook, a perfectionist, passion-driven young man who is inspired by the desire to create healthy communities through well packaged medical outreaches
